According to Moonalice legend, tonight's poster by Carolyn Ferris depicts Yo Yo Moonalice, who grew up here in Applegate. The woman known as Mother Yo Yo was many things: a bird, a plane, a juggler, and a clown. She wore plates for hats and entertained people for hours with her tricks. Mother Yo Yo's secret was a third eye where her belly button should have been. The third eye was horribly nearsighted, so Mother Yo Yo was forced to press her tummy up against whatever her third eye wanted to look at. Personally, I always felt like she was invading my space.
