According to Moonalice Legend we are gathered today to celebrate the memory of our dear friend and benefactor Warren Hellman. If Warren were here he would be so happy about the 17th edition of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, but I tell you he would have been seriously pissed off about the state of this country.
Chris Shaw's poster depicts Warren's banjo-playing pal Rooster Moonalice who reminds us that every morning is an opportunity to start over. Let us each commit to doing everything we can to protect those less powerful than ourselves from the evil forces trying to dominate the country.
Streaming of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass provided by Moonalice on its live video platform, in partnership with Chime Interactive.
Moonalice played this day on Towers of Gold stage at 12:20pm. Doobie Decibel System did not play at the festival this year.
