According to Moonalice legend, today is the day the Moonalice circus returned to DC after a long time away. We missed you. Given all the ugliness on Pennsylvania Avenue we brought reinforcements in the form of sisters and brothers, specifically the T Sisters and New Chambers Brothers.
Tonight’s poster by Chris Shaw shows the band’s new bus. Isn’t she a beauty? A veritable menagerie. On the left is Gypsy Sally Moonalice charming her pet snake Squeezer. On the right is her T Sister, Tabitha, bench pressing a box of snakes. All of this is in service of reminding us of the importance of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Please look out for one another. Respect everyone. Protect those who need protecting. And smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.
