According to Moonalice legend, tonight is the last full moon of 2021. It is one of the shortest nights of the year and one of the coldest. In short, perfect conditions for an outdoor concert in Golden Gate Park.
The wonderful folks at Luminate organized this event — and this incredible light show —as a tribute to Allen Ginsberg’s poem Howl. With that in mind, I wrote a poem to commemorate the occasion:
