Bread & Roses is a philanthropic organization that produces more than 600 concerts a year for people who can't get out: people in prison, hospitals, nursings homes and the like. They produce our shows at Delancey Street, veterans hospitals and similar venues. B&R gave us an award this year for posters that our artists have created for their events. At Moonalice’s 420 Gathering of the Tribe at Slim’s last Sunday (with the Electric Doobies opening), Gail Barnes (@ZAGrrl) broadcast a bunch of songs on Twitter's Periscope live video app. We landed at #6 on the Periscope Leaders List, gathering 3.2 million impressions and 13,000 hearts!
