According to Moonalice legend, tonight’s poster by John Seabury depicts Mexicali Meshugenah Moonalice in her later years, when she predicted the future for $4.20. This poster shows the evening when Mexicali predicted the revival of a great art form – rock posters – and foresaw a day when the Borough of Brooklyn would host a high holy day in honor of Art of Moonalice. She predicted an Art of Moonalice show would take place on the 8th of April in a very nice bowling alley called the Brooklyn Bowl. By an incredible coincidence the 8th of April is tomorrow. We encourage you to come to the Brooklyn Bowl to see if Mexicali’s prediction will come true.
According to Moonalice legend, our second poster tonight was created by Mexicali Live from a photo they found on Facebook that we used in a post on International Talk Like a Pirate Day. The heavy metal sensibility means that I have absolutely no idea how this image relates to the Legend, although I am certain it does. Gail Barnes, Glenn Evans and Paul Dulany are the people to talk to about this.

The opening act tonight was the incredible blues guitarist, David Jacobs-Strain, who played a set with Bob Beach on harmonica. Their set is included in the video of tonight's show.
