According to Moonalice legend, today's poster by Carolyn Ferris is groundbreaking! This is the first time Carolyn has had a male character in one of her posters. According to legend, that male is Pot Planting Thomas Moonalice ... known to our tribe as PP Tom ... who committed his entire life to getting into a poster full of women. He almost made it several times, but each time the artist was too quick with the eraser. The key this time was that PP Tom drove his flying car in reverse ... so the flying turtle guards didn't see him until after the poster went to the printer. While this may not equal to eating 59 Nathan's hot dogs on the 4th of July, it's enough for the Moonalice legend.

The opening act was Hangdog Expression, the singer of which - Kate Nugent - knitted while she sang. This was a first for us. What happens if she misses a stitch? Do they have to redo the song?
