According to Moonalice legend, in the good old days it didn't rain during concerts in Pacific Grove ... if we're lucky it won't rain today either. This is our first show of 2016, and we pulled out all the stops to be here. As depicted in Gregg Gordon's incredible poster, we got here in a very special flying machine that combines parts from every broken down car, airplane and hot air balloon from the yard in front of our double wide. It takes some work to get it started, but once the engine turns over the darn thing floats like a monarch butterfly.
This is the fifth consecutive year we have played the Good Old Days festival and it remains a highlight on our calendar.
Notes: Opening Day of the Moonalice season!!! Pre-show rain ended 90 minutes before the set ... And never came back.
- Blink of an Eye dedicated to Tracy Sheridan, the first person to blog about Moonalice (and Blink of an Eye). Please get well Tracy!!!!
