According to Moonalice legend, Alamo has never been fully appreciated for its wild life. Long overshadowed by the larger, incorporated townships that surround it, Alamo has long proved to be a refuge for humans and critters looking for a life of independence. Today's poster by Dennis Loren depicts NBC Moonalice, a purple peacock with a famously fabulous flurry of feathers. NBC favors the unincorporated life here in Alamo, strutting his stuff so sinfully that we have heard complaints from as far away as Walnut Creek. We aren't concerned. The complainers are just jealous because they don't have a peacock with purple plumage. But you will, just as soon as we hand out these posters!!!
Notes: Concert dedicated to the memory of the Earl of Moonalice, Earl Stokes. We also played Hallelujah in Earl's honor.
