w/ Dark Star Orchestra
According to Full Moonalice legend, there are days. There are days between. This is one of them.
Here we are, assembled once again at Black Oak Ranch, in the ‘hood of the legendary Hog Farm, sharing the beautiful vibe of this hallowed ground. Let us celebrate Jerry, the Dead, Wavy and Jah, the Deadheads, and the future that we will make together after Covid.
As depicted in today’s poster by Alexandra Fischer, the days between are like Janus, the god of the new year, looking back and looking forward at the same time. But being Deadheads, our faces do not turn outward as those of Janus do. Instead, we look at – and look out for – each other. That is what communities do. And if this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that communities are precious. They must be protected and nurtured. Let us resolve to look out for each other. We should no longer pass doobies, but sharing our stash is as important as it ever was.
Dark Star Orchestra is next!
