w/ The Motet, Monophonics
According to Full Moonalice legend, the sun shines brightly here in Petaluma. The corn in the fields is high, and – unless I am greatly mistaken – so are most us here at the Petaluma Music Festival.
Christopher Peterson’s poster reminds us that the pandemic has not undermined what really matters in our lives: the love and support of our chosen family. We can share a day of music outdoors because we protected our chosen family by getting the vaccine, wearing a mask, and doing the right thing. Delta is a new challenge, and there may be more challenges in the future, but days like today give us the strength, the love, the sense of community to make the best of whatever may come.
We in Full Moonalice love and appreciate you all. Thank you for supporting live music. Thank you being part of our chosen family.
We have some big gigs coming over Labor Day weekend. We will be in Santa Rosa – a KRSH – for a show on Thursday, Sept 2. We will be at the amazing Freight and Salvage in Berkeley on Friday, September 3. We will be at Terrapin Crossroads on Saturday, September 4, sharing the bill with Stu Allen and Mars Hotel. On Sunday, September 5, we will be in Napa at Bottlerock. We know you have a zillion entertainment options these days, but we hope to see you at these shows …
