Moonalice rocks IROCKE Q1 2013 quarterly report for Top Volume Leaders: Artists | Bands

Moonalice is on a roll! An honor roll, that is, namely the IROCKE Q1 2013 Quarterly Report in which Moonalice is ranked #3 in terms of Top Volume Leaders Artists | Bands!

This is not the first time that Moonalice has rocked an IROCKE honors' list. In January this year, IROCKE ranked Moonalice’s MoonTunes #26 in the Top 50 live streaming sources from 2012: http://blog.irocke.com/bestof2012/irockes-top-50-sources-of-2012/. To obtain these rankings, www.IROCKE.COM editors and contributors rated a total of 11,536 performances by 3,843 artists that were streamed live from 684 sources during 2012. Ratings were based on performance quality, online audience size, online audience engagement, unique use of the live streaming medium and other criteria.

Talking about MoonTunes in an article on the IROCKE blog Roger McNamee said, “When you are way in front of a curve, two things are true. There is no market research to take your anxiety away. And the second thing is there is nobody you can ask who knows the answer. So sometimes you have to say, ‘Do I believe in this so much that I am willing to trust my instincts even if I am wrong?’ We are doing that relative to what we call MoonTunes.”

MoonTunes is the name of the video and audio player, at www.moonalice.com, on which fans can watch every single Moonalice show live on the day of the show, or in the archive, 15 minutes after the end of each show. Perhaps more crucially, it’s also a ready-made technological platform that will allow anyone to likewise offer extremely high quality, satellite-beamed live streams of anything from a concert to a wedding.
