Moonalice Will Not Play Indoors Until Further Notice
Today the band issued a statement:
We in Moonalice regret that we will not be able to play any indoor shows for the remainder of 2022. Members of our band, crew, and immediate families are extremely vulnerable to covid, and the persistence and increased transmissibility of the virus create a life or death situation for them. The same may be true for some of our fans. Like all of you, we hoped we were done with covid, but covid is not done with us.
This is a painful decision. As a band, we live to play. The cancellation of shows is disappointing, but in order to live and play, we must first safeguard the health of everyone in the tribe.
We apologize for having to cancel the already announced shows in Homer, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, and at Fur Peace Ranch in Pomery, OH, as well as the East Coast tour we hoped to do in September.
We hope to reschedule when it is safe to play indoors. Until then, we will play outdoors and share livestreams with you.
Thank you for your understanding.
