Renowned Music Journalist Ben Fong-Torres Interviews Roger McNamee

In this two part video, renowned music journalist, Ben Fong-Torres interviews Roger McNamee. They discuss the music that influenced Roger as a child, as well as the genesis of Moonalice.

Part 1 of Ben's interview with Roger can be viewed here > http://www.moonalice.com/tribe/user/admin/video/ben-fong-torres-intervie..., and Part 2, here > http://www.moonalice.com/tribe/user/admin/video/ben-fong-torres-intervie....

More of the fascinating story about how Moonalice came to be in Roger's own words > http://www.moonalice.com/tribe/user/chubbywombat/blog/how-moonalice-came-be.

Ben Fong-Torres is an American rock journalist, author, and broadcaster best known for his association with Rolling Stone magazine (through 1981) and the San Francisco Chronicle (from around 1982).

Roger is a vocalist and plays rhythm, lead guitar and bass for Moonalice, a band of seasoned musicians who feel that live music should be a communal experience where the listener and musicians feed and derive inspiration from each other.

Moonalice's songs try to speak to everyone, mixing a variety of genres with extended musical improvisations that evoke a sense of adventure and exploration. Moonalice invented Twittercast concerts, which are free broadcasts to fans over social networks. The band's single, "It's 4:20 Somewhere" has been downloaded more than 3 million times.

Moonalice broadcasts every show live via satellite in HTML 5, so that they can be enjoyed on iPhone, iPad or Android without an app. Moonalice has been granted a trademark on the term Moonalice Couch Tour® for their live broadcast service via MoonTunes which is enjoyed by hundreds of fans from around the world - the U.K., Sweden, Australia, Thailand and Japan to name a few!
