According to Moonalice legend, posters promote a specific event, but the art is forever. The artists are mortal, but sometimes they come back to life. Such is the case tonight. For the first time in the 640 poster Moonalice series, a living artist - in this case, the amazing David Singer - teamed up with a dead one, Alton Kelley. Kelley spent most of life doing art with Stanley Mouse, but tonight his partner is David Singer, who created the last 69 posters at the original Fillmore in San Francisco. Their poster depicts Merc Moonalice, the first American automobile to be powered by hash oil. The car doesn't go very fast, but also generates no pollution. How? There is no end to the volunteers who will inhale the emissions!
