The pandemic forced us to move the annual 4/20 Gathering of the Tribe online ... we could not distribute posters this year, so we are sharing them here. Not all of the posters are done — many are missing text — but here is a sample of what our artists created for the 4/20 Gathering.

Dear Tribe members - it is with heavy hearts that we have to postpone our planned Full Moonalice streams for at least the next few weeks. New restrictions for the entire San Francisco Bay Area mandate that everyone must “shelter in place” until further notice. We are not allowed to leave our homes or travel except for a narrow set of purposes. Unfortunately, playing music is not on the list.

Legendary Poster Artist Wes Wilson Dies at 82

Wes Wilson, one of the Big Five artists who revolutionized poster art in the 60s, has died at age 82. Wes' trailblazing use of text influenced every poster artist who followed him. His iconic 1965 anti war poster, "Are We Next?", was created in his spare time while working at a print shop.

Wes created 26 posters for Moonalice, 3 for Roger McNamee solo, plus a reprint of "Are We Next?" that was distributed at a Moonalice concert in Union Square in the weeks prior to the 2016 presidential election.

Moonalice, the T Sisters, and the New Chambers Brothers have joined forces as Full Moonalice!

The 2020 Time Has Come Revue (THC Revue) tour begins January 4 at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA!!! The THC Revue will return in April for a busy year of touring on both coasts and some places in between. Meanwhile, we are at Laughing Tiger Studio, recording an album. If all goes well, cut will include the best of the songs we have been playing. As always, Dave Way is at the controls ...

Thank you for an amazing year!
Thank you for an amazing year!

Wow! 2019 was an incredible year for Moonalice. We got off to a very slow start because of other commitments, including Roger's activism, but beginning Memorial Day weekend our schedule filled up and things started to happen. The Summer Solstice show in Golden Gate Park brought us together with the T Sisters and The New Chambers Brothers, which led to an experiment that evolved into a fun thing that soon became a new Moonalice. It was huge fun for us to explore new musical ideas with Lester, Dylan, Erika, Chloe, and Rachel ...

Sisters & Brothers is the new Moonalice!

We started an experiment in August with five new members of the band: Erika, Chloe, and Rachel Tietjen (T Sisters) and Lester and Dylan Chambers (The New Chambers Brothers). The experiment has been an incredible success ... giving the band a new direction and new energy. We could not be more excited about it. Our plan is to be a ten-person band in 2020:

Dylan Chambers - vocals
Lester Chambers - vocals
Jason Crosby - keyboards
Roger McNamee - guitar, bass, and vocals
John Molo - drums
Pete Sears - bass, guitar, and vocals
Barry Sless - lead guitar and pedal steel
